Ledcor is hiring for a Disability & Wellness Advisor to join us on a fulltime permanent basis. In your new role you will report to the Senior Manager Benefits & Wellness and play a key role in the seamless and ongoing compliance of disability programs while supporting the development and enhancement of initiatives aimed at promoting employee wellbeing.
This is a collaborative role that will see you engage with stakeholders across the business from within HR operational leadership vendors & employees across all portfolios to provide expert guidance on disability plans and procedures. Additionally you will champion awareness drive participation and encourage engagement in wellness programs across the organization.
This role also involves closely monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of wellness programs ensuring they align with industry best practices and evolving regulatory standards.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Accountable for performing full cycle disability management support for Canadian Early Referral Services (ERS) At Work Services and LTD process and coordination
- Provides advice and updates managers and HR on employee cases offering recommendations to support employee returnworkefforts while working with Employee Relations on complex claim issues
- Supports Senior Manager Benefits & Wellness in reviewing and updating of Absence Management Program to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Provides guidance and support on U.S. ShortTerm Disability (STD) LongTerm Disability (LTD) Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and state specific leave programs & complex FMLA applications
- Monitors legislative changes related to the U.S. state disability programs and recommend and implement any required changes
- Support Senior Manager Benefits & Wellness in development of wellness initiative by coordinating the wellness calendar activities and program reviews
- Research industry best practices and trends and provides recommendations to support mental physical financial and social wellbeing strategies as the wellness initiative evolves over time
- Delivers education and communication efforts on disability programs related compliance programs and available resources and drive engagement throughout the employee lifecycle
- Partners with Communications team to increase awareness engagement existing resources and promote the overall wellbeing program while maintaining and updating the Mental Health Connect site
- Supports with the identification of metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of wellness programs & prepare reports on disability program and identify areas for improvement
- Build and strengthen relationships with disability and wellness program vendors including vendor managers case managers and rehabilitation coordinators & lead monthly review meetings to evaluate case progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in HR Business Admin or a relevant field
- 4 years experience in a similar role in the delivery of both Canadian and US employee Disability and Wellbeing programs within a complex multijurisdictional organization (Canadian is essential US is preferred)
- Strong MS Office skills with expertise in Excel
- Familiar with large HRIS or ERP systems such as JDE and Workday
- Knowledge of disability legislation occupational health policies and leave management regulations in Canada and the U.S.
- Excellent problemsolving communication organizational and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams including HR Legal and Health & Safety professionals
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to measure program success and identify trends
Compensation
$75200 $103400 Annually
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience knowledge skills education and location.
