Job Description
We are hiring a Restaurant Cashier who is reliable strongwilled and confident in handling cash and interacting with customers. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Kannada and possess a strong sense of responsibility when managing financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and interact with guests in a polite and friendly manner
Take customer orders accurately and relay them to kitchen staff if needed
Handle cash and card transactions with precision using the POS system
Issue bills receipts refunds or change as necessary
Ensure cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain a clean and organized counter area
Handle customer questions and resolve issues calmly and professionally
Coordinate with delivery partners and manage takeout orders
Requirements
Requirements:
Fluent in Kannada (spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus
Strong attention to detail and high integrity in handling money
Confident and strongwilled personality able to stay calm under pressure
Basic computer and math skills
Willingness to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
High school diploma or equivalent
