Title: Specialist Analytics

Duties: Process and execute sophisticated data set analyses that translate data into actionable insights. Communicate data to crossfunctional teams and diverse audiences (from managers to board executives). Maintain handson knowledge of business intelligence tools and underlying data repositories used by company. Build customized business dashboards that quantify performance across multiple dimensions. Develop custom metrics to help measure business issues and performance. Work crossfunctionally with key business partners including product engineering data science finance program management and others. Develop thorough understanding of customer and emerging trends in digital media/ecommerce landscape. Raise above numbers to tell stories and inform strategies and tactics. Position reports into Newark NJ office; however telecommuting from a home office may be allowed.
Requirements: Requires a Masters degree in Information systems Computer Science Operations Research or a related field plus three 3 years of experience in Data Analyst or a related occupation.
Experience may be gained concurrently and must include two 2 years in each of the following:
Executing advanced business analysis using multilayered SQL queries
Building complex business models
Distilling large datasets and translating data into actionable insights for a digital media or eCommerce company
Applying advanced knowledge of Tableau
Working in an Agile environment.
Alternatively will accept a Bachelors degree and five 5 years of experience.
