The Opportunity
This project will explore the impact and value of pooled procurement and sustainable financing models to increase affordability and access to diagnostics across Africa with a focus on a select country. By evaluating existing procurement mechanisms funding flows and innovative financing approaches the project will generate insights to guide Roches engagement in marketshaping initiatives and government collaborations.
Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelors studies at a university preferably in the field of Health Economics Finance Public Health Supply Chain Management or a related discipline within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the IVD Diagnostics industry.
Furthermore you are
Understanding of healthcare financing and procurement models (Required)
Strong research and policy analysis skills (Required)
Experience with economic modeling or costeffectiveness analysis (Preferred)
Ability to engage with stakeholders including policymakers and donors (Required)
Strong problemsolving and strategic thinking capabilities (Required)
