REGULATORY CMC INTERNSHIP

Internship Summary:

Zoetis is seeking a dynamic and techsavvy Data & Digital Intern to support the Regulatory Affairs team. The intern will be responsible for assisting with the digital transformation of data management contributing to data analysis and enhancing digital tools used in regulatory processes. This role will provide handson experience with cuttingedge technologies while supporting the critical regulatory functions that ensure Zoetis products comply with global and regional standards.

Internship Job Duties:

• Data Management & Analysis:
  • Support the collection cleaning and maintenance of regulatory data across various systems.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining digital databases for regulatory submissions and dossier management.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends gaps and opportunities for process optimization within regulatory affairs.
• Digital Tools Support:
  • Assist in the development and deployment of digital tools to streamline regulatory processes.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate datadriven insights into regulatory strategy.
  • Support the digital transformation initiatives within Regulatory Affairs by identifying and recommending process improvements.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  • Aid in organizing and updating regulatory documents ensuring adherence to internal and external compliance guidelines.
  • Support the preparation of digital submissions to regulatory authorities.
• CrossFunctional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with IT digital innovation and other internal teams to ensure regulatory data accuracy and functionality.
  • Assist with project coordination and communication between Regulatory Affairs and other departments.

Internship Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science Computer Science Information Systems Regulatory Science or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel Python or R) and experience with database management.
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as Power BI Tableau or other data visualization platforms.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI desirable but not required.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and document management is desirable but not required.
  • Background or education in general life sciences and/or chemistry is desirable but not required.

The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position:

If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Associatelevel degree: $16.00 per hour

If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Undergraduatelevel degree: $20.00 per hour

If the selected candidate is a student pursing a Graduatelevel degree: $32.50 per hour

If the selected candidate is a student pursuing a Doctoratelevel degree: $36.00 per hour

The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in California Connecticut District of Columbia Illinois (Chicago area) Massachusetts New Jersey New York Washington (Seattle area):

Student pursuing an Associatelevel degree: $17.00 per hour

Student pursuing an Undergraduatelevel degree: $22.00 per hour

Student pursing a Graduatelevel degree: $36.40 per hour

Student pursuing a Doctoratelevel degree: $40.30 per hour
