Description

The Military Customer Account Manager (CAM) has the primary responsibility for managing the business relationship with our military customers. This position is involved in developing new proposals production/manufacturing strategies and managing the critical/key activities with all our customers. The role requires the ability to work with internal Operations teams to ensure that the needs of the customer are being met flow down of customer requirements is timely and accurate and the Voice of the Customer is communicated and drives the internal organizations behavior. The position is the key to maintaining our customer relationships and creating an exceptional Customer Experience. This does not require a security clearance.



Requirements
    • Acts as a primary point of contact for existing and potential customers
    • Provides timely response to customer inquiries that include quoting and status updates
    • Provides price quotes for repair or manufacturing to existing and potential customers
    • Performs an initial contract review of all purchase/repair orders to ensure a flowdown of requirements proper scheduling
    • Ensures RFP and Contract compliance
    • Provides continuous status reports to the customers and management as appropriate
    • Manages Customer Contracts PO process general account maintenance and RMA process for returns
    • Advocates for expedite when necessary customers order to ensure delivery
    • Coordinates activities with other internal departments such as production planning scheduling and shipping/ receiving to ensure that the customers expectations are met
    • Investigates and resolves customer issues
    • Manages the ontime delivery of customers assets
    • Manages customer portal and the scheduling requirements of goods delivery
    • Coordinates with the Planning and Forecasting team to understand specific customer or market segment requirements (SIOP)
    • Establishes and maintains strong relationships at all levels within the customer organization
    • Presents to customer and executive leadership
    • Is willing and able to push the customer first perspective to all level of leadership to improve performance and educate

Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Business Management/Administration or relevant field of study MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 4 years customer service/account management experience in a manufacturing industry is required
    • Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communications using electronic media and direct or phone contact with external and internal customers
    • Microsoft office: proficient Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint
    • Good mobility (job requires movement between departments including production floor)
    • Detail oriented (high accuracy required)
    • Manage high stress levels
    • Extremely organized with ability to juggle multiple project deadlines effectively and prioritize task
    • Analytical skills and disciplines in support of business planning strategy development/deployment relationship management and conflict resolution with the ability to translate data into insights
    • Demonstrated ability to manage large complex aerospace proposals and contracts
    • Achieve or exceed performance objectives for schedule cost and quality
    • Establish individual KPIs and operations metrics and report on progress achievements and associated business results
    • Proactively recognize and solve challenges affecting current and future ability to achieve production objectives to meet customer needs
    • Demonstrable experience supporting continuous improvement strategies and additional bestinclass manufacturing techniques to drive competitive advantage in quality cost and schedule.
    • Proven track record of successfully building and nurturing multilevel client relationships
    • Ability to work with strong personalities

Preferred

  • Military experience
  • Experience using Exostar Aeroxchange Sales Force or other CRM tools helpful
  • Experience with MROs and OEMs
  • Experience in business management program management sales & marketing or strategic partnering in an Aerospace environment
