Rate: 231.00 per day
An exciting job role has recently become available at the Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council. They are looking for a new member for their Single Point of Contact Team.
You will progress safeguarding enquiries risk assessments and action plans. You will mentor and support the development of practice skills and knowledge within the team. Additionally you will ensure the provision of highquality social care services that meet policies procedures and best practices.
You should have experience in adult social care particularly in safeguarding and triage roles. Proficiency in conducting assessments and making informed decisions based on those assessments is highly valued. You should have an understanding of safeguarding adults procedures and the ability to apply them in practice. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients families and other professionals as well as the ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions are essential. To be eligible for this role you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess postqualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
