Job Description
Pinterest is one of the fastest growing online advertising platforms. Continued success depends on the machinelearning systems which crunch thousands of signals in a few hundred milliseconds to identify the most relevant ads to show to pinners. Youll join a talented team with high impact which designs highperformance and efficient ML systems in order to power the most critical and revenuegenerating models at Pinterest.
What youll do:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partner teams across the organization to architect ads ML feature infrastructure solutions to unlock Pinterest ads models innovations.
- Mentor engineers to develop their careers and achieve their goals from early career through senior level setting the technical vision guiding the daytoday as well as fostering good team health and culture.
- Lead the team to build the nextgeneration Pinterest Ads ML foundations. Opportunities to use cutting edge ML technologies including GPU Cuda Feature Store and LLMs to empower 100x bigger models with more enrichment model features.
- Act as a stalwart of technical quality and excellence on the team ensuring the solutions we deliver have a high level of polish and reliability.
What were looking for:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of management experience or tech lead experiences in 8 people team 3 years).
- 8 years of relevant industry experience in leading the design of large scale & production ML infra systems. Such as feature store model serving or training framework.
- Deep knowledge with building distributed systems or recommendation infrastructure.
- Strong crossfunctional collaborator and communicator.
InOffice Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means were not always working in an office but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for inperson collaboration 1 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices SF PA SEA.
