Job Description

Space technology will enable global access to information solutions to climate change answers to global food security products that transform healthcare clean energy production and more. Today rocket launch options are slow expensive and unreliable. Stoke is building the worlds most efficient fully and rapidly reusable rocket designed to fly daily that will radically increase access to space and open up the space economy to safeguard our precious home Earth.

Description

Reusable launch systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. As an Operations Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the operations and finance organization in a number of tactical activities. You will work closely with business development human resources legal marketing/branding future programs finance and general operations to ensure their activities run smoothly and provide assistance as needed. As part of a small wellsupported team you will have access to the resources you need to get the job done right while simultaneously boosting your skills at a pace that cant be matched in most other roles.You must be ready to stay focused move fast selfdirect and learn on the fly.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate meetings both onsite and offsite including internal and external participants. This includes ordering and setting up catering postvisit cleanup planning agendas and potentially keeping and distributing minutes
  • Work with visitors and customers to schedule onsite meetings organizing all necessary logistics
  • Arrange maintain and modify the leaders schedules and associated organizational activities
  • Maintain calendars for events conferences and proposal related activities
  • Assist the team with all aspects of travel logistics including booking flights hotels rental cars and other arrangements as needed
  • Handle confidential business matters with discretion
  • Support HR/Recruiting team with new hire onboarding swag distribution and creation of employee/candidate materials
  • Partner with marketing team to source order and distribute employee and candidate swag
  • Manage employee appreciation events and coordinate employee gifts
  • Receive sort scan mail and ensure soft copies are delivered to appropriate individual and hard copies are shredded
  • Manage company contact methods including phone messages and email inbox responding to and triaging requests as appropriate
  • Support team as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and 6 years relevant professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer skills required include advanced expertise in Microsoft Office software (Word PowerPoint Outlook and Excel)
  • Ability to coordinate Outlook calendar conference call and shared link applications
  • Prior experience coordinating both on and offsite meetings and/or events
  • Ability to complete a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision
  • Experience with travel planning
  • Ability to work onsite full time
  • Ability to compile and generate reports and presentations
  • Experience proofreading and correcting documents for grammatical errors
  • Proactive highly motivated and adaptable with excellent organizational skills including the ability to juggle multiple tasks changing needs and competing priorities
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and proven success in organizing prioritizing and completing assigned responsibilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to interface with executive level internal and external contacts with considerable autonomy
  • A positive cando attitude and a willingness to work on a variety of tasks

Compensation

Target Levels:

  • Level 1 Range: $29.38 $44.04

Your actual level and base salary will be decided based on your specific experience and skill level.

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen lawful permanent resident of the U.S. protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)3 or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
