We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Medical Lab Assistant to join our clients team in Brighton. Your contributions will be essential in supporting our medical technologists and pathologists ensuring the smooth operation of the lab and the accuracy of test results. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for laboratory work we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for collecting and preparing patient specimens performing basic laboratory tests and maintaining accurate records. You will operate and maintain laboratory equipment ensuring all procedures are conducted safely and efficiently. Your role will also involve assisting medical technologists and pathologists with more complex tests adhering to laboratory safety protocols and managing inventory. Your attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the lab and the accuracy of test results.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting which can include internships or parttime roles.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Assistant or in a related field is advantageous.
Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment excellent organizational and timemanagement skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
