Job Overview
We are seeking a detailoriented Junior Accountant to join our team at Podar Education Network in Cuddapah. This fulltime position requires 1 to 3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will manage financial accounts ensure compliance and support financial reporting. Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential for managing large datasets performing complex calculations and preparing accurate financial reports. (Mandatory skill)
- Experience in financial reporting to ensure that all financial statements are precise compliant and delivered in a timely manner. (Mandatory skill)
- Expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable to track payments and ensure timely and accurate reporting. (Mandatory skill)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks allowing for efficient management of financial transactions and improved organizational bookkeeping processes.
- Experience with SAP to handle business operations and customer relations efficiently contributing to effective financial management.
- Understanding of tax compliance to ensure all financial activities adhere to legal standards and regulations minimizing potential liabilities.
- Knowledge of GAAP is crucial to maintaining consistency reliability and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems to streamline business processes increase productivity and improve overall organizational efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records by entering data accurately and ensuring the integrity of financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports to provide a clear and detailed overview of the organizations financial status.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles to maintain legality and transparency in all financial activities.
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable ensuring that payments are timely and financial records are accurate.
- Support annual audits by preparing financial documents and facilitating the audit process for accuracy and compliance checks.
- Analyze financial data and identify trends variances and anomalies to support strategic decisionmaking and financial planning.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support budgeting processes and financial forecasting aligning financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Utilize financial software to streamline processes enhance reporting capabilities and increase overall efficiency.
