This position requires you to be willing to be on call after hours for emergency response. You must possess excellent writing verbal organizational and customer service skills as well as be a selfstarter with the ability to work under minimal supervision. You must be able to lift 60 pounds. A valid drivers license is required as you will be required to travel on company business. There are occasions where you must be willing to be on call after hours for emergency responses.
What You Will Do
- Changing combinations rekeying and repairing a wide variety of safes cipher and commercial door lock hardware.
- Developing and maintaining keying systems for all RMD buildings and accurately maintaining critical Lock & Key records.
- Developing and delivering lock operation training to diverse groups of various sizes.
- Collaborating with other Security departments and Facilities management to ensure compliance with NISPOM and other government requirements. Additional duties may be assigned at supervisors discretion.
- Planning scheduling and arranging activities in accomplishing objectives both within an individual and team environment
Qualifications You Must Have
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Min of 6 years of commercial locksmith experience
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Value
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word and Power Point) and other webbased computer programs
- GSA Container Certification
- GSA Container & Vault Inspector Certification
- Kaba Mas XSeries Factory Certification
- Lock Masters LKM7000 and LKM10K Factory Certification
- Working knowledge of NISPOM
