Job Summary: The Quarantined Material Review (QMR) CX Inspector will aid Columbus Engine Center in correcting nonconforming product that has been received from suppliers. This position will report to the GTF Product Quality Department and will address all items coming into the QMR Cage.

This is a 1st Shift position: Monday Thursday 6am 4:30pm (Flexible)

What You Will Do:

• Read and interpret engine manuals customer work scopes and tolerancesto inspect engine parts and modules to validate proper configuration
• Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine build.
• Complete and review technical documentation including Fits and Clearances and Engine Inspection Reports (EIR)
• Complete and review engine package documentation
• Inspect engine parts and modules to validate proper configuration.
• Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the facility

Qualifications You Must Have:

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 years aviation experience
• Current CEC Inspection Stamp (internal applicants)
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Value:

• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or 1 years relevant experience
• Turbine engine overhaul inspection and repair experience precision measuring tool usage preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly Inspection Assembly.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP
