About the position:

The Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Digital Specialist (Audit & Assurance) supports the development and of digital strategies manages projects consults on technical solutions and enhances organizational awareness and compliance within HSE.

The Digital Specialist reports to the Operational Excellence (OE) Reporting & Digital Team Lead in Chevron ENGINE in Bengaluru India.

Key Responsibilities:

Support development and of a sustainable HSE Digital Audit and Assurance Strategy
Act as a technical consultant for digital research solution development and business engagement to enhance digital solutions for Serious Injury & Fatality (SIF) prevention and environmental compliance.
Establish and maintain HSE digital audit and assurance solutions including development maintenance (e.g. supporting Management Service Providers) and rationalization of HSE audit and assurance related application and project queue for nominated business units.
Perform and support development of Low Code solutions and apply technical skills across HSE and IT.
Increase organizational awareness and ownership of digital audit and assurance solutions in HSE.
Assist HSE in leveraging aligning and identifying efficiencies with digital platforms.
Assist coordinating pilot and deployment materials (e.g. training job aids) for successful implementation of HSE digital audit and assurance solutions.
Partner with Oil Products and Gas (OPG) HSE and business units on digital strategies and projects.
Provide subject matter expertise blending HSE technical and process skills with IT application project management and data and information skills.
Innovate to drive improvement identify efficiencies and increase standardization.
Influence beyond function lead communicate and facilitate at all levels.
Serve as a Product Owner for specific highimpact digital audit and assurance products on the HSE / OE Digital Platform.
Coordinate development activities between development teams and customers.
Develop product vision and strategy define and prioritize product features manage the product backlog and accept or reject completed features.
Manage digital audit and assurance solution intake assess and validate business value and prioritize strategic opportunities.
Develop digital learning and awareness campaigns to increase digital skills and competencies within the workforce.

Required Qualifications:

Experience developing digital learning and awareness campaigns to enhance digital skills within the workforce
Strong communication skills and must be skilled in translating data into business insights learnings and recommendations that are digestible by HSE and Operations SMEs and leaders.
Proven ability to manage digital solution intake assess business value and prioritize strategic opportunities.
Expertise in running and maintaining support for lowcode solutions to minimize technical debt.
Experience in developing product vision and strategy defining product features and managing product backlogs.
Ability to analyze and evaluate large data sets and perform advanced data manipulation (Pivot Tables) and visualization (Excel/PowerBI) to build asset and Enterprise level reports.
Strong coordination skills to manage needs and expectations between teams and customers.
Experience as a Product Owner for highimpact digital products (e.g. SaaS/Custombuilt) on a digital platform.
Ability to understand the Operational Excellence Management System with deep technical knowledge on personal and process safety health and environment to understand facilitate reporting that is beneficial for SMEs to drive decision making.

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1.30pm to 10.30pm.

Chevron participates in EVerify in certain locations as required by law.
