Job Description Summary
The Manager of Phlebotomy Services is responsible for overseeing the operations of the phlebotomy department ensuring highquality patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations. Key responsibilities include managing staff to include hiring mentoring discipling and correcting team and individual shortcomings and failures. Developing and implementing policies and procedures maintaining quality assurance ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations medical laws and high ethical standards. Manage budgets adhering to performance driven metrics and staffing models. Collaborates with other healthcare teams to optimize patient flow and address customer service concerns. Actively participates in establishing an environment that is conducive to teaching health care practitioners in Laboratory Services. Ensure care team members receive continued education and professional growth in addition to ensure the laboratory setting is conducive to teaching health care practitioners.Entity

Additional Job Description
Education: Associates Degree required Bachelors Degree preferred if not must be attained within 3 years of hire.
Work Experience: 7 years progressive work experience and 2 years management/supervisory experience.
State licensure and/or professional certification through the ASCP BOC or equivalent.
