Job Description
Role: Locum Respiratory Physiologist
Banding: Band 5/6
Location: Dartford
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 Months
Hours: Fulltime/ Part time
Rate: 22 35 per hour
The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in Dartford. This is a fulltime position starting ASAP with a competitive hourly rate of 22 35 per hour. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will conduct comprehensive respiratory and sleep studies. You will analyze and interpret test results. You will provide accurate and timely reports. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans. You will educate patients and their families about respiratory and sleep disorders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential:
- Clinical PFT/LFT experience.
- Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist.
- Band 6 or 7 with reporting experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the NHS.
- Desirable:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
