Job Description
Job Summary:
Requirements
- Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts to test software applications thoroughly and systems
- Identify document and track software defects and issues using bug tracking systems
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and provide input on test ability and usability aspects during the design phase
- Perform functional regression integration and performance testing to ensure software meets quality standards
- Conduct manual exploratory testing to uncover any potential issues that may have been missed during structured testing
- Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test data
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to resolve any issues and ensure timely delivery of highquality software
- Participate in product and feature reviews to provide feedback on qualityrelated aspects
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in manual testing methodologies tools and technologies
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and promote best practices within the team
- Working knowledge of JIRA or other relevant testing tools is must
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Test Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies tools and processes
- Proficient in creating and executing test plans test cases and test scripts
- Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools
- Solid knowledge of functional regression integration and performance testing
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
