We are expanding at warp speed and are adding to our team from our sales office and shop floor locations to our remote online team members. We are a diverse creative and passionate crew who is always looking to discover and implement fresh innovative ideas and make some pretty amazing things.
JOB SUMMARY
The role of the Distribution and Fulfillment Manager will be to provide direction for Marketing by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; support for and implementing fulfillment business strategies plans and practices; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customerfocused environment (adhering to service level agreements statement of work and contracts); while demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning / improvements.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prioritize schedule and delegate work assignments to the hourly staff.
- Act as a technical resource to the distribution and fulfilment department personnel and other departments to address and resolve inquiries and problems related to assigned functions.
- Program management of fulfillment projects with vendors and service providers. Monitor all fulfillment files outgoing and incoming from vendors to ensure vendor compliance.
- Analyses department procedures regarding quality cost effectiveness accuracy efficiency and productivity. Establishes production goals for the department(s).
- Communicates effectively with other departments to plan and direct work activities and resources to ensure production is within quality quantity and cost specifications.
- Effectively communicates production expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
- Monitors and documents performance against production standards.
- Maintains plant equipment to provide a clean and safe working environment.
- Implements training and process improvement actions.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the team.
- Develop and deliver progress reports requirements documentation and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in production scope identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
- Coach mentor motivate and supervise team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of production.
- Develop best practices and tools for project and management.
- Ensure all company and HR policies and practices are communicated and enforced consistently.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum required experience is 710 years direct work experience in a relevant management capacity
Vocational/Technical/Business school or equivalent work experience. Some college preferred.
Experience at working both independently and in a teamoriented collaborative environment is essential.
Experience with print operations large scale fulfillment projects project and campaign management
Must be able to learn understand and apply new technologies.
Preferred Skills
Detailed oriented and have proven background in Fulfillment and campaign management.
Able to use independent judgment to make decisions multitask and meet deadlines.
Ability to develop business relationships and work in a fast paced clientdriven environment.
Experience communicating effectively with all levels of management and nonmanagement.
Ability to negotiate and communicate complex concepts/business issues verbally and in writing to clients and management.
Analytical and problemsolving skills.
Personal computer skills should include Microsoft Office. Must have excellent Excel skills
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (SAP HagenProMail/VeraCore system).
Can conform to shifting priorities demands and timelines through analytical problemsolving capabilities.
Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment is crucial.
