Job Description
Novo is seeking a reliable motivated and teamoriented individual to join our Warehouse Team. This position is within a fastpaced warehouse environment in Sparks Nevada. We offer competitive compensation and opportunities for growth. The Systems and Inventory Control Quality Specialist is responsible for overseeing inventory systems and ensuring precise and efficient inventory management throughout the organization. This role integrates inventory management with the administration of warehouse management systems (WMS) data analysis system support and PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) equipment management. The Specialist will collaborate with various departments to optimize stock levels manage system functionalities and uphold data accuracy while also providing training and support to staff on both inventory processes and PIV equipment. Key responsibilities include configuring and utilizing WMS ensuring data integrity analyzing system performance and managing the training and support related to PIV equipment including walkie riders forklifts reach trucks and scissor lifts.
Job Duties/Requirements
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records through daily cycle counting.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy and customize discrepancies.
- Implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Work with warehouse teams to align inventory levels with business needs and operational plans.
- Resolve inventoryrelated issues and discrepancies promptly
- System Oversight and Functionality Management
- Configure and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to integrate seamlessly with inventory practices.
- Oversee the delivery testing and implementation of new WMS functionalities.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within system records.
- Coordinate with internal teams to address system issues implement improvements and manage data reporting and ticketing.
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Prepare and present reports on inventory and system performance to management highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communication and Training
- Effectively communicate with internal staff to address system issues and ensure operational continuity.
- Train new and existing employees on standard operating procedures (SOPs) office programs WMS RF guns scanning devices and PIV equipment.
- Ensure staff competency in inventory control procedures system functionalities and safe operation of PIV equipment.
- Present information professionally to systems teams and management.
- Troubleshooting and Support
- Address and resolve complex system issues related to inventory management and WMS.
- Provide ongoing support to staff and departments to address inventory control and system usage challenges.
- Documentation and Compliance
- Ensure SOPs are uptodate and accurately reflect inventory control and system procedures.
- Manage Daily Damage reports if applicable.
- Ensure Daily passdowns are completed to ensure success for your counterparts.
Qualifications/Skills and Additional Requirements
- Experience: 24 years in inventory control systems management or a related field.
- PIV Equipment: Must be proficient in operating all types of PIV equipment including walkie riders forklifts reach trucks and scissor lifts. Must have at least 2 years of experience with PIV equipment and be prepared to train others on this equipment as needed.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical and detailoriented skills.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word etc..

Education Requirement
- High school diploma GED or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
- Hourly (paid weekly via Direct Deposit).
- Overtime opportunities (overtime pay is equal to 1.5 times the Team Members regular hourly rate of pay for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek).
