Pay: $280000 Annual Salary
Work schedule:Fulltime Day time hours

Essential Duties:
- Plan coordinate and manage the mental health program and services of the facility.
- Accept referrals for inmate evaluations; make necessary judgments and recommendations.
- Coordinate mental health referrals to other resources when deemed appropriate.
- Develop and conduct preventative mental health program inclusive of inmate training counseling recreation activities discipline orientation and other support services.
- Provide staff training both group and individual instaff counseling techniques.
- Prepare and conduct special training programs for staff as scheduled.
- Maintain and monitor confidentiality of inmates and their files; observe applicable HIPAA rules.
- Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in psychiatry preferred; must be MD specialty in psychiatry and three 3 years related experience.
- Must have a license or certification as required by the state of Ohio.
- Board certified in psychiatry.
- A valid drivers license in the state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record required unless waived by management.
- Must successfully complete annual inservice training requirements.
