Overview
Immediate Hiring Need for a Field Service Technician
We are looking for a skilled electromechanical Service Technician to join our growing team. You will leverage your customer communication skills and mechanical/electrical knowledge to address complex technical issues. Your responsibilities include diagnosing troubleshooting modifying and testing industrial machining equipment. We take pride in training individuals for successful careers in the machining industry and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose complex technical problems perform repairs and conduct preventative maintenance
- Disassemble and rebuild tools as needed
- Maintain professional communication with customers
- Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze problems
- Document product issues and resolutions in detail
Qualifications:
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems (press brake bearings gearing ball screws and various waymoving systems)
- Experience with electrical measurement and calibration techniques (voltmeter oscilloscope etc.
- Working knowledge of fastening and assembly processes
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
- Comfort with handling abrasive chemicals for cleaning parts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Not Required But Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:
- Associates or technical in a technical field
- General understanding of pneumatics (preferred but not required)
