Job Description
KOMAN Government Solutions has an immediate need for an Assistant Geologist/Scientist in Marlborough MA. Responsible for providing support to the project team in executing all aspects of project work. Assignments will typically be related to one or more of the following: project plan preparation and permitting; site investigation environmental monitoring and multimedia sampling; remedial action implementation and operation & maintenance (O&M) and other projects as opportunities become available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning and ...
- Support and prepare project plans
- Support and prepare permit applications
- Prepare for field investigations/sampling events
- Assemble required documentation and checklists
- Assist in coordinating equipment materials and subcontractors

- Support field investigations/sampling events
- Collect environmental samples and field measurements
- Ensure project plans and associated safety and quality control requirements are implemented
- Maintain field forms and other documentation
- Summarize data and assist with technical report preparation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree from a fouryear college or university in environmental science geology or related science.
- 04 years of relevant work experience
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- Current OSHA 40hour training for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) or ability to obtain before commencing employment is desired
- Ability and willingness to undertake frequent travel (estimated 2540 on average)
