Integration Test Specialist Satellite Test - 2nd Shift

INTEGRATION & TEST SPECIALIST (SATELLITE TEST) 2ND SHIFT

At SpaceX were leveraging our experience in building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink the worlds most advanced broadband internet system. Starlink is the worlds largest satellite constellation and is providing fast reliable internet to 5M users worldwide. We design build test and operate all parts of the system thousands of satellites consumer antennae that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing and the software that brings it all together. Weve only begun to scratch the surface of Starlinks potential global impact and are looking for bestinclass Integration & Test Specialistto help maximize Starlinks utility for communities and businesses around the globe.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• First level triage of integrated satellite test failures by reading and interpreting test logs and telemetry
• Assess nonconforming hardware and drive resolution and preventative actions
• Implement standard disposition practices test failure troubleshooting guides and standard repair procedures
• Identify develop and provide training to production technicians on new or updated processes
• Interface with software engineers hardware engineers and technicians to optimize disposition troubleshooting and rework workflows.
• Rootcause integrated satellite test failures and implement corrective actions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2 years of professional experience in a handson manufacturing environment OR a bachelors degree in an engineering math or science discipline

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate or Bachelors degree in an engineering math or science discipline
• Experience as aLeadTechnician working on assembly and/or test of subassemblies
• Experience in Python C or other programming languages
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Power Point Outlook)
• Able to adapt to constant changing work assignments and fast paced work environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
• Experience with integration and testing of propulsion thermal electrical and/or structural systems

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work all shift overtime and/or weekends as needed. Estimated shift time 2nd shift: 4 PM 2:30 AM
• Standing for long periods of time climbing up and down ladders bending grasping sitting pulling pushing stooping and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:

Integration & Test Specialist/Level 1: $32.00 $40.00/hour
Integration & Test Specialist/Level 2: $36.00 $45.00/hour
Integration & Test Specialist/Level 3: $40.00 $50.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a casebycase basis and may vary based on the following considerations: jobrelated knowledge and skills education and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. Company shuttles are offered to employees for roundtrip travel from select Seattle locations to the SpaceX Redmond office Monday to Friday.
