Job Description:
Objective: The E&O Spreadsheet Developer is responsiblefor designing and implementing outbound reports using Jet Reports to facilitateExcess & Obsolescence (E&O) reporting for the Finance team. This role involvesworking with data from standard NAV 2018 version tables and utilizing JetReports to extract transform and present financial data accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
1. DataExtraction and Integration:
ConfigureJet Reports to connect seamlessly with the Navision ERP (NAV 2018.
Extractfinancial data from standard NAV 2018 version tables including Item LedgerEntry and Value Entry.
2. DataTransformation:
Definedata transformation rules to ensure accurate and meaningful reporting.
Combinedata from multiple sources including ledger tables and master data tables likeItem Master to create comprehensive reports.
3. ReportDesign:
Designreport templates within Jet Reports that are aligned with the Finance teamsrequirements.
Utilize thecapabilities of Jet Reports to format and structure data effectively.
4. IncorporatingDate Tables:
IntegrateIntrinsic Jet tables like Date Tables to enhance daterelated calculations andreporting accuracy.
5. Automation:
Implementautomation processes to regularly update and refresh the E&O Spreadsheetwith the latest data.
Ensuredata integrity and consistency in automated data refreshes.
6. QualityAssurance:
Performrigorous testing to validate the accuracy of reports.
Collaboratewith the Finance team to gather feedback and make necessary refinements.
7. Documentation:
Documentthe report development process including data sources transformations andreport templates.
Createuserfriendly guides or manuals for the Finance team to operate and maintainthe E&O Spreadsheet.
Requirements
Strongproficiency in using Jet Reports for data extraction and report creation.
Experienceworking with NAV 2018 or similar ERP systems.
Solidunderstanding of financial data especially related to Excess &Obsolescence reporting.
Proficiencyin SQL and data manipulation.
Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellentcommunication skills to collaborate with the Finance team and gatherrequirements.
Attentionto detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Abilityto work independently and meet project deadlines.
