The Opportunity Join our team as a Technical Project Manager and take the lead in driving technical and operational improvements within our fleet. Your expertise will enhance fleet performance reliability and safety while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a proactive solutionsfocused approach and a strong understanding of fleet technologies and project management.
Key Responsibilities
Track and analyse fleet performance addressing reliability issues repeat defects and technical obsolescence.
Lead fleet improvement initiatives to enhance operational availability reliability and safety.
Oversee compliance with maintenance schedules regulatory standards and company policies.
Identify and implement best practices for technical improvement programmes within the organisation.
Support fleet commissioning and decommissioning processes as required.
Liaise with customers to establish continuous improvement processes and define key technical projects.
Manage fleet modifications and upgrades ensuring they meet safety and regulatory requirements.
Oversee technical project including vehicle upgrades technology integration and sustainability initiatives.
Analyse fleet data to recommend costsaving measures and efficiency improvements.
Ensure all operations comply with safety environmental and regulatory standards.
Provide expert advice on fleet systems including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with stakeholders including suppliers manufacturers and internal teams ensuring project success.
Maintain financial control over project budgets costs and resources ensuring alignment with company goals.
What We Are Looking For
Skills & Experience & Behaviours
5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering fleet management or a related field. Proven experience in managing technical projects from initiation to completion. Strong knowledge of fleet technologies including telematics diagnostics and maintenance tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including project management tools (e.g. MS Project). Excellent problemsolving decisionmaking and analytical skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively. Teamoriented proactive and committed to continuous improvement. Industry certifications such as PMP SOE IMI or other relevant credentials (preferred). Experience working in an ISOaccredited environment (desirable). Familiarity with sustainable and electric vehicle technologies (desirable). Experience with Ground Support Equipment or the aviation sector (advantageous but not essential).

Working Hours/Shift Pattern This role requires a mix of officebased work and field visits including airside operations at various airports. Occasional travel may be necessary for vendor coordination and industry events.
