Job Description

The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking an experienced and dynamic Joint Communications Center (JCC) Managerto lead and oversee the daily operations of our emergency communications center. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient coordination of emergency response services managing a team of dispatchers implementing best practices and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills extensive experience in public safety communications and the ability to foster a highperformance work environment.

About the Position
Oversees the functional operations of the 911 call center ensuring an efficient and responsive emergency communication system. Manages staff budget and operational procedures to serve the needs of the community.
