Position Summary:
The Relationship Specialist provides exceptional client experience by handling banking transactions addressing account inquiries and resolving client concerns. This role involves providing tailored product and service recommendations ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions accurately and managing the opening and maintenance of new deposit accounts while upholding the integrity of client information.
Additionally the Relationship Specialist focuses on building lasting relationships with clients contributing to branch sales targets and delivering a seamless positive banking experience.
Client Experience:
Greet clients warmly and assist with their inquiries regarding accounts products and services.
Provide accurate information about banking products such as personal and business checking accounts and savings accounts.
Address and resolve client concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
Transaction Processing & Account Management:
Process deposits withdrawals transfers and payments accurately.
Ensure compliance with bank policies procedures and regulations during transactions.
Handle cash and check transactions maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Open and maintain personal and business accounts.
Assist clients updating account information and completing transactions.
Educate clients on features and benefits of BankProv.s products and services.
Sales and Referrals:
Identify client needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
Crossselling of financial products. Participate in sales campaigns and work towards achieving individual and branch targets.
Refer clients to branch leadership for cash management services and lending opportunities.
Branch Operations and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with bank policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
Assist the Senior Relationship Specialist to ensure audit completion.
Follow security measures for handling cash and confidential information to prevent potential fraud and loss.

Attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Basic math skills and proficiency with computers and bank software.
Comfortable assisting clients over the telephone.

Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of retail banking experience.
