Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the organizations real property at the Center for Changing Lives Minneapolis (CFCL Mpls) Christ the River of Life (CROL) the Center for Changing Lives Frogtown Rondo (CFCL Frogtown Rondo) Eastside Early Learning Center and the Family Building are wellmaintained to meet the needs of the people we serve. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the maintenance staff supporting commercial properties in the metro area. This role is 80 supervisory and 20 handson providing leadership support and training to both new and existing maintenance staff. The Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with property management to efficiently execute daily seasonal and annual metro commercial property maintenance and operations in a manner that optimizes the total cost of ownership of LSS properties.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a technical degree or certification in facilities management building maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- 5 years of relevant experience in building maintenance with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven handson experience with building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and building automation systems.
- Familiarity with International Building Code (IBC) and local codes/regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants staff and management.
- Proficiency in using maintenance software Microsoft Office Suite and building automation software.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical environments as needed.
