Job Description

Role based in Paris (onsite with a few days remote)

Your mission in the team:

As a SeniorFP&A Analyst you will play a key role in monitoring and optimizing the financial performance of our French branch. Youll collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide insightful analysis and strategic recommendations helping to drive financial stability and business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare clear datadriven monthly and quarterly dashboards.
  • Analyze budget vs. actual variances identify key drivers and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to Allianz Group headquarters.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Contribute to the annual budget process and quarterly forecasts.
  • Monitor financial projections adjusting based on market trends and business performance.
Cost Control & Optimization
  • Track and ensure adherence to allocated budgets while identifying costsaving opportunities.
  • Spot inefficiencies and propose optimizations to enhance profitability.
Strategic Business Support
  • Partner with commercial marketing and operational teams to assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives.
  • Provide datadriven insights and recommendations to support decisionmaking.

You will be part of our dynamic and collaborative French Finance team of four:
Yasmine our Accountant
Fiona our Financial Controller
Mathilde our Finance Apprentice
Francis our VP Finance and team manager

      What do we recommend to be successful

      • Education: Masters degree in Finance Management Control or a Business School diploma (BAC5 equivalent).
      • Experience:4 to 7 years in financial planning management control or FP&A ideally in insurance or financial services.
      • Technical Skills:
        • Strong proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI SAP etc..
        • Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling.
        • Familiarity with IFRS standards (a plus).
      • Soft Skills:
        • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
        • Detailoriented highly organized and proactive problemsolver.
        • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
      • Languages: Fluent English required; French is a plus.
      • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the insurance sector is a strong asset.
