The Opportunity:

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with 57 years of litigation experience to join our dynamic team in our Miami office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a prestigious firm known for its expertise in litigation.

Responsibilities:
Represent corporate clients in Federal and State Courts handling civil actions related to property damage.
Collaborate with a variety of forensic experts to investigate and evaluate the legal and financial viability of different causes of action in both single and multiparty litigation.
Draft pleadings discovery requests discovery responses motions and briefs.
Prepare for attend and present at court hearings.
Take and defend depositions.
Maintain effective communication with clients and opposing counsel.

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
Excellent academic credentials demonstrating strong legal aptitude.
Admission to the Florida bar is required.
Minimum of five years of litigation experience preferably prosecuting and/or defending product defect claims property damage claims construction issues or property insurance claims.
Experience working with various forensic experts (e.g. fire origin and cause mechanical electrical civil structural chemical; material human factors accounting and standard of care) is highly desired.
Proficiency in drafting legal documents conducting legal research and presenting oral arguments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed.
