Position Summary
Walsh University is seeking a highly motivated selfdirected and flexible individual who is enthusiastic about the environment found on a private values based Catholic liberal arts campus. The Division of Student Affairs at Walsh University has been structured to reflect the Universitys commitment to student development support and retention. The roles listed below play an integral role in actualizing this commitment.
The Student Affairs Graduate Assistants are responsible for aiding the Division of Student Affairs in creating and maintaining a positive student centered community across campus. This includes the establishment of programs and services which foster respect dignity and Christian virtue among students in unison with the ethics and spirit of the Universitys mission and vision.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities)
Must understand and support the Mission Vision and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University as a Catholic higher education university as expressed in Ex Corde Ecclesiae and possess the following:
Education and Academic Status:
Bachelors Degree required with appropriate related experience and admittance into a Graduate Program at the University.
Experience Skills and Abilities:
Relevant experience working in student affairs or student services; experience in conflict and dispute resolution/mediation; Experience as a supervisor or peer leader; Strong interpersonal skills positive attitude organizational skills and sense of humor. Professional demeanor and ability to interact with charity towards students staff and faculty. Other skills or abilities may be required based on the department.
