Data Analyst Product Support
Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) is a national notforprofit shared services organization that supports hundreds of health care providers across Canada as well as child welfare agencies and other public sector organizations. MMC provides valuedriven contracting and procurement solutions for medical/surgical supplies pharmaceutical products local sourcing capital (equipment FF&E and redevelopment) and nutrition solutions. Other services include data analytics inhospital support warehousing/logistics technology procuretopay and accounts payable.
With an emerging focus on sustainability and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples MMC is actively supporting the creation of a resilient value chain that incorporates environmental social and governance best practices. Based in Burlington ON the organization also has offices in Toronto Thunder Bay Kingston Brantford London and Chatham and a distribution centre in Oakville.
We are currently recruiting for a fulltime Data Analyst to support our Product Support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Product Support group email and analyze the requests being sent. Initiate subsequent actions in consultation with the Supervisor
- Update Product Support tracking file for requests being sent to Product Support group email
- Provide customer service support by serving as the front line for enduser inquiries and problemsolving
- Prepare and submit loadsheet for approved substitute to update existing contracts and to create new item in SAP
- Analyze like product repository database identify substitute products for backordered items provide information to sites and ensure timely updates in SAP
- Monitor request for substitutes and provide product information to clinical team for substitute exploration
- Analyze new addition requirement for contract availability on MMC portal and suggest next actions to stakeholders
- Identify and report discontinued items from vendor documents using SAP and liaise with stakeholders to find suitable replacements
- Analyze and review monthly noncontract spend data and advise next actions to ensure continuous flow of orders
- Execute data management tasks in SAP and SAP Analytics Cloud by preparing and delivering comprehensive data summaries by building reports using multiple databases
- Perform detailed analysis in SAP including the identification of backordered items and setting up substitute products in SAP
- Provide spend analysis report using SAP analytics for discontinued products and on ask for products under recall
- Analyze contract data prepare and submit necessary loadsheet to update SAP for product code price and source of supply accuracy for members who signed up for data steward services
- Monitor stock levels for substitutes and prime products and advise customers when to switch from substitute to prime
- Update SAP item master for accuracy in consultation with cross functional team
- Prepare monthly request summary and provide to all stakeholders
- Review and recommend actions on substitute contract
Qualifications and Skills
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with MS Office (Excel Word Outlook Teams)
- Experience using SAP and SAP Analytics cloud
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in MS Excel and/or MS Access with ability to write or maintain macros
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work and act independently with minimal supervision
- Strong mathematical and literacy skills
- Ability to work in high paced demanding environment
Education Training and Experience
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management Health Informatics Mathematics or equivalent field
- 23 years of experience in logistics or Supply Chain Management handling data analysis previous experience in a healthcare environment an asset.
- Experience working in Healthcare Supply Chain/Logistics
Preferred
- Experience with MS Office Access
- Experience with Smartsheet
- Excellent multitasking skills strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Customer centric mindset. Customer service oriented for ensuring an enhanced customer experience.
- Sound judgement and discretion in dealing with confidential information
Travel
- Ability to travel to Mohawk Medbuy offices if required.
