Job Requirements
- 4 years experience leading and managing engineering teams.
- 5 years of experience in designing building refactoring and releasing large scale native apps in a distributed global environment.
- Experience in Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams is desirable
- Proven experience with Java and Kotlin on Android or ObjectiveC and Swift on iOS.
- Experience with TDD pair programming code reviews and other techniques to maintain highquality code and resiliency.
- Experience working on sophisticated systems with an outstandingly large customer base.
- Qualityfirst mindset with an emphasis on crafting features with testability as a prerequisite.
Job Functions
You will be leading our Search native app development team helping to continuously modernize our platform strive for technical and operational excellence and to reimagine and design the future of Search at eBay.
- Help us design and build the next generation of Search at eBay.
- Mentor and grow other engineers while raising the bar on the teams technical excellence.
- We follow agile practices and focus on continual improvement in our practices driven from the ground up. We expect you to advocate for improvements in our code and our process and to support your teammates along the way.
- Collaborate closely with team members and other teams dividing up welldefined tasks in a structured selforganizing culture.
- Partner and collaborate with other organizations throughout eBay.
As part of the team youll also share your knowledge with the wider team as well as learning about and contributing to our core mobile experience.
