Job Description

Position: Maintenance Manager
Location: New Albany Ohio
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Director of Operations
JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Manager manages the maintenance construction repair and refurbishment operations of a facility and implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings groups and associated equipment. The Maintenance Manager is a handson leader responsible for proper maintenance and upkeep of the facility production equipment support equipment as well as critical spares and strictly adheres to all safety and environmental policies regulations and permits. This role works directly with Operations and Engineering teams to provide required maintenance support for the site using internal and external resources.

  • Monitors daily building operations of all systems including mechanical electrical plumbing HVAC safety waste management and production to ensure reliability.
  • Tracks work orders for quality adherence to service standards and local laws and regulations.
  • Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects.
  • Ensures safety and environmental compliance in associated work.
  • Promotes a culture where GMP root cause corrective action and KPIs support the companys objectives for reliable production and supply of customer goods.
  • Inventory procurement and management adhering to company budget.
  • Leading and managing a team of highly skilled maintenance technicians including performance management scheduling employee concerns and time management
  • Responsible for repairs completed safely timely costeffectively and contracting additional resources as needed to support company operations.
  • Continuous improvement of business tools such as CMMS utilization PMs Training Matrix and TWI
  • Departmental KPI and PM compliance to improve reliability and equipment performance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Associate or bachelors degree in mechanical electrical engineering or equivalent maintenance experience
  • Three plus years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have basic hand tools and experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs with strong Excel proficiencies
