The opportunity:
Lead Python Developer needed to join our team here at VML Enterprise Solutions.
What youll get to do:
- Be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining web applications
- Write clean maintainable and welldocumented code following best practices and industry standards
- Work with large and complex codebases to ensure our product is leading edge
- Design and architect solutions to meet business requirements
- Lead teams of up to 5 engineers to develop API services
- Coordinate with other teams to define and drive project standards
- Break down tasks to distribute to other engineers
- Mentor and supporting other engineers upto and including senior level
- Have lots of business exposure enabling you to see the results of your work
You will collaborate with our UK project team so well need you to be available until 18:00 PL time.
What you should have:
- Python development experience with a focus on web applications/services
- Strong knowledge of Python 3.x and either FastAPI/Flask framework
- Excellent knowledge of the DevOps process
- Handson experience with RDBMS (Postgres Oracle or others) and ORM
- Experience developing API microservices
- Significant experience of working with Agile methodologies
- Good problemsolving skills
Bonus points if you have:
- GCP or any other Cloud experience
- Kubernetes experience
