Were looking to add engineers to our team. In this role you will collaborate with internal and external teams to design high quality costeffective solutions for our fulfillment and distribution systems. You will help follow CAD projects from concept realization through construction.

You will help serve as a liaison between our internal CAD team and various partners (internal design partner teams concept and firm vendors internal/external product teams) to ensure effective project endeavors. Youll help develop mechanisms to improve work processes improving the quality and speed of the teams overall deliverables. Youll dive into rate models to identify system bottlenecks to balance the flow and mitigate design risks.

Your projects may include greenfields brownfields and retrofits including highlyautomated fulfillment centers crossdock facilities and transportation centers. Your projects will be a variety of templatebased and designedfromscratch.

You will work with a team of highlyskilled and highly engaged engineers in a fastpaced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. You will work on high impact high visibility projects; you will problemsolve learn and grow.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will:

Manage multiple projects and tasks
Validate CAD projects by working with internal partners to align on inputs material flow leadership sentiment and MHE classification
Collaborate with internal and external teams to generate highquality costeffective and safe solutions
Travel to observe onsite processes to develop and improve designs (at the cell/site/networklevel)
Develop mechanisms to improve work processes improving the quality and speed of the teams overall deliverables

Bachelors degree in Engineering (any discipline) or foreign equivalent or a related field
25 years of CAD software experience (Revit/AutoCAD is a bonus)
25 years experience in Design/Innovation Engineering Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering or related
Experience must involve ownership/ management of engineering design projects
Experience using business/technical software like MS Excel MS Project MS Visio

Experience with complex automated material handling equipment packaging technologies robotics and/or highspeed manufacturing
Indepth of knowledge MHE systems including installation application and standards
Rate Models: creation/understanding/balancing to find bottlenecks in the system flow
Experience with process design and based on Lean Principles
Ability to travel 5 within US

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
