Reporting to the Manager of Accounts Payable Shared Services the Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to the processing of full cycle accounts payable for a designated group of Bird entities.What You Will Be Working On
Large volume full cycle accounts payable processing of invoices through an automated workflow system.
Prepare weekly payment runs to ensure vendors are paid accurately and within specified payment terms.
Work closely with purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies.
Monthly reconciling of vendor statements.
Complete monthly reviews of AP aged trial balance to identify items that require action.
Partner with internal and external client groups with a focus on exceptional customer service.
Assist/support accounts payable team as needed with adhoc requests and projects as required.
What We Will be Looking For
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or an Accounting diploma
5 years progressive accounts payable experience
Experience working with automated workflows in a paperless environment
Intermediate MS Excel skills with proficiency in other MS Office Suite applications
Strong organization with critical thinking and problemsolving skills supported with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Highly motivated individual who embraces initiative is resultsoriented and has a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities and capable of handling pressure / challenges in a dynamic business environment
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals along with fostering positive relationships with multiple groups across the business
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
