POSITION: Outreach Education Assistant (Kelowna) Canada Summer Jobs

STATUS: Temporary; FullTime June 19 2025 to August 22 2025

SHIFT: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30am 4:30pm

LOCATION: Kelowna BC

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

WAGE: Hourly

CLOSING DATE: April 25 2025 (Midnight EST)

must be between 1530 years of age at the start of employment and looking for careerrelated experience

About the Position:

Reporting to the Senior Camp Counsellor on a daytoday basis the Outreach Education Assistant will support summer camp staff in leading groups of youth (ages six to 14 through fun educational safe and inclusive experiences at BC SPCA summer day camps. Sessions will be held at a designated BC SPCA location. Using ageappropriate material developed by the BC SPCA Humane Education Team learning will include animal care and welfare topics related to companion/farm/wild animals and the environment. Additionally the candidate will support BC SPCA Animal Centre staff by performing a variety of shelter duties and tasks.
