We are seeking a highly motivated associate to join our Employment and Labor practice group in our Reston Virginia or Washington DC office. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of broad experience in employment counseling with a focus on statutory and regulatory compliance executive employment and separation agreements and employment aspects of M&A transactions. Some litigation experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and counsel on employment matters including statutory and regulatory compliance and executive agreements.
- Advise on employmentrelated issues in M&A transactions.
- Support the team in daytoday client matters and offer practical solutions for complex employment issues.
- Assist with some employment litigation matters as needed.
Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in employment counseling particularly in compliance executive agreements and M&A transactions.
- Some litigation experience is a plus.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be admitted to the Virginia or DC Bar.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual pay range: $260000 $365000 (dependent on experience and location).
