Purpose of Position:
Provide high school students with evening supervision tutoring and mentoring
Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree or significant progress toward completion of bachelors degree. Must be eligible for fulltime employment during program dates.
Experience:Classroom or related experience and the ability to provide engaging instruction
Skills:Possess leadership potential; good decision making skills; initiative and strong interpersonal skills; teamoriented; energetic; responsible; creative; knowledge of effective teaching/learning process; ability to work with high school students; ability to effectively communicate both orally and in print; maintain confidentiality; possess problemsolving skills; be open to students with a variety of backgrounds; have the ability to walk long distances; participate in outdoor activities; work extended hours with a positive attitude; basic Microsoft Office and Internet skills; have the ability to utilize voice calls and text messaging on personal phone during work hours
