Job Description
This is our designer drop box. Earthbound has Apparel Accessories Soft and Hard Home Print (home and apparel) and graphic design team members. Please specify your area of expertise so we can direct your resume appropriately!

Overview of Position:
Designers at Earthbound work on a specific brand and category or set of categories in the soft home hard home apparel or accessories space. They are responsible to design and develop inspiring and innovative pieces for their category with accuracy and aesthetic integrity of the brand. Under the leadership of a Design Director they own the development process for each product from sketch to approval.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Brand Design Director translate trends and concepts into designs that respond to business needs for the relevant product category.
- Ability to flat sketch and render technical illustrations using Adobe Illustrator Photoshop 3D modeling where applicable.
- Assist with the preparation of presentation boards for meetings by preparing boards sketches etc.
- Support all aspects of board creation and presentation.
- Work with Design to develop and track all materials and components through approval.
- Research and develop all materials trends apply the trend to our designs and follow up on color and delivery with designated materials sourced.
- Research trend and perform comp research to provide innovative ideas for design direction
- Review samples and share feedback with suppliers or product development team.
- Maintaining physical and digital sample libraries
- Maintain product development logs line sheets binders inspiration & product samples and mood boards.
- Demonstrate creativity with understanding of brand aesthetic.
- Provide support from concept to design in all steps of design process.
- Meet all deadlines in adherence to the seasonal design calendar.
- Provide design support to supervisors as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications and Requirements years of experience will vary based on level.
- Experience in a Design role
- Understanding of design and color sense and product knowledge.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other Design specific applications (Ex. NEDGraphics Solidworks)
- Ability to design and sketch Adobe Illustrator Photoshop etc.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Selfmotivated team player
