CYC Phillip Island Adventure Resort is an expansive facility situated on 80 acres of landscaped grounds in the heart of Cowes. It offers accommodation for over 600 guests featuring airconditioned guest rooms with ensuites and a variety of onsite activities including giant swings swimming pools high and low ropes courses canoeing raft making sand volleyball indoor rock climbing archery and both single and quad flying foxes!!

The resort is a purposebuilt complex catering to large bookings and is a popular destination for educational groups community and church groups school camps corporate retreats and holiday camps.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated team player to fill a leadership team position who is passionate about providing enriching activitybased experiences that foster teamwork resilience and personal growth for our guests.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervision and mentoring of staff promoting a positive and collaborative work culture
• Management of daily onsite activity operations ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards
• Coordination of staff recruitment training and development initiatives
• Oversight of department administrative operations including staff rostering leave management and timesheets
• Contribution to Leadership Team meetings and reviews including daytoday liaison with other members of the leadership team.

Personal attributes:

• Previous experience running highelement activities and working in the camping industry is highly regarded for this role
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive inclusive environment for both staff and campers
• Strong administrative skills with the ability to learn and operate venuespecific systems
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Commitment to child safety practices

Essential requirements:

• A Victorian employee Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid rights to work in Australia
