Sinclair Dermatology is Victorias largest dermatology practice incorporating a specialist clinic with more than 15 specialists a clinical trials unit dermal and laser clinic and a hair salon. Sinclair Dermatology is a globally recognised medical center headed by internationally renowned Dermatologist Professor Rodney Sinclair. Our main office is conveniently located in East Melbourne with another center in Pascoe Vale South & Parkville.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fulltime Medical Photographer/Receptionist.
The opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our busy clinic support team as a key part of the Medical Photography & Reception Team. In addition to providing essential support there will also be opportunities to learn about photography including thorough training to enhance your skills. This training will prepare you to assist with medical photography whenever needed making it a great chance to expand your abilities and contribute in a new way to the team.
Located in leafy East Melbourne with public transport on the doorstep and the MCG in full view from our balcony it is vibrant place to come to work.
Previous experience in a medical setting and photography is highly regarded but full training will be provided to candidates who are looking to move their career into a Medical photographer/reception setting.
The role involves but not limited to:
Providing exceptional customer service to patients referring doctors and Sinclair Dermatology specialists
Appointment bookings
Assisting patients with their requests and queries
Assisting the medical photography department
Take hair and scalp photograph of patients
Use SLR cameras for digital imaging
Maintain photography and other equipment
Manage upload and storage of patient photographs
Work closely with dermatologists nurses and other clinic staff and report to the Photography Team Leader.
Accurate data entry of patient information
Scanning documents and handling invoices
Working closely with our Dermatology specialists and fellows nurses photographers dermal clinicians and other support staff.
Handling payments and finalising end of day banking
Organising and assisting with Telehealth and processing Medicare
Other administration tasks such as recalls reporting and monitoring online bookings
What is required:
Medical reception experience is ideal however any form of reception is also accepted.
Medical Photography experience is ideal however any form of Photography is also accepted.
A team player with strong attention to detail and articulate customer service skills.
Bonus but not required to have experience in our booking system called Zedmed.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to multitask and strive even under pressure
Confidence and empathetic personality
Enthusiastic driven and an initiative personality.
