Job Description

As the IT Manufacturing Operations Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the server software and network resources that support an organizations IT environment utilizing best practice in line with industry standards. You will provide daily IT operational support to ensure business continuity and success identifying areas of improvement.
What youll do:
- Improve network architecture to support Operation Technology expansion and growth.
- Establish naming conventions for network WiFi servers etc.
- Collaborate in the definition of infrastructure standards.
- Design Backup and Disaster Recovery plan for all manufacturing locations.
- Support manufacturing operation providing high availability infrastructure.
- Provide hands on desktop support to plant users.
- Perform proper firmware/software update on equipment in accordance with company and vendor requirement.
What you have:
- 5yearsof related work experience.
- Knowledge of storage servers and Hypervisor (VMWare preferred).
- Knowledge of routing firewalls routers OOB and switching.
- Technical certifications from Cisco Palo Alto AWS areencouraged.
- Automation & scripting skills.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations.
- Incident and Problemmanagement ITSM. Automation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong troubleshooting.
- Work under minor supervision.
- Bachelors degreein a related field preferred.
