TekCom Resources is seeking a Project Coordinator/Jr. Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity with one of our premier telecom clients in the Fort Myers/Apopka FL area. This is an onsite role and not a remote position. Company Vehicle Fuel Card and Cell Phone are provided
Job Description
The Jr. Project Manager will coordinate all activities involved in the Operations of Wireline Outside Plant Construction. The Jr. Project Managerschedulesthe construction crew workload and manages the aspects of both Buried Fiber Utilities & Aerial. This is a customerfacing position which requires attention to detail multitasking and a strong ability to create relationships. The Project Manager represents the company as a Liaison between Supervisors and the Customer at scheduling meetings and manages the workflow of all work projects issued by the customer.

Job Description
The Jr. Project Manager will coordinate all activities involved in the Operations of Wireline Outside Plant Construction. Daily Responsibilities
- Manage change order work completion process ensuring that work is preapproved not to overextend the company.
- Timely and accurate response to customer technical problems and for adherence to contractual obligations to maintain and install customer equipment.
- Ensure key issues of cost time quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure company databases are kept current and accurate.
- Working with the Municipalities and executing permits
- Responsible for cross functional coordination with the construction operations team to ensure build schedule alignment with customer priorities.
- Review and implementation of key performance metrics (Build production / Overage Job Management / Market Productivity / etc.
- Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies.
- Customer Escalations / Roadblock Mitigation
Required Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other systems as needed specifically Excel (VLOOKUP Pivot Tables etc. and Word
- Familiarity with Google Drive and Sheets preferred.
- Proven Strong Data Manipulation Skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers employees etc. in the accomplishments of goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated understanding & utilization of work in progress reports and be able to accurately forecast work 90 days in advance.
- Attention to Detail
- Valid Drivers License
