Job Description
Are you a skilled technician looking for an opportunity to work with a luxury brand Jenkins Genesis of NE Jacksonville is seeking a CERTIFIED Genesis or Hyundai MASTER technician to join our growing team. As part of our state of the art service departmentyoull work on cutting edge Genesis vehicle delivering top tier service and craftsmanship. The Genesis service Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager Supervisor or Team Leader. In addition the Service Technician may also be assigned to conduct predelivery service on new vehicles to ensure excellent working order upon delivery to the customer.
The ideal Service Technician has Previous experience with Genesis Hyundai or otherhighline brands. Must have strong work ethic and excellent diagnostic and communication skills. - Expertly diagnose issues based upon experience analysis and testing
- Maintain leadingedge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology digital manuals and reference materials
- Possess an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles complex components work and interact
- Perform routine service inspections test and lubricate engines and other major components
- Repair automobiles and light trucks that run on gasoline electricity or alternative fuels such as ethanol
- Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry as well as in the diagnostics arena
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
