Moderate years of underwriting experience preferred.
Some experience in environmental consulting an asset.
Solution oriented marketing focused and collaborative.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to execute business strategies.
Ability to establish and maintain brokerclient relationships.
Consistently pursue opportunities to differentiate AXA XL in the industry through our offerings and how we conduct business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Collaborative team player who provides creative solutions and ideas for resolution.
Knowledge of the Canadian insurance industry combined with indepth technical knowledge of CPL PLL product offerings and effective broker relationships.
Education: Bachelors Degree required.

AXA XL provides Integrated Environmental Risk Management tailored solutions combing underwriting risk engineering and specialized claims management. A pioneer in the environmental insurance marketplace AXA XL provides attentive service environmental expertise quality products and a longterm commitment to the marketplace.
This position is responsible for the profitable production and underwriting of contractors pollution/professional liability coverage for contractors and environmental consultants and pollution liability for site specific risks.

Essential responsibilities include:
Manages and Underwrites profitable book of renewal and new business per AXA XL Guidelines.
Cultivates key broker relationships.
Reviews submissions per authorized guidelines.
Prices quotes and binds business.
Reviews Completed Engineering Surveys.
Advocate and cross sell other AXA XL product lines to further drive the AXA XL business as a whole.
Participate in volunteer or special projects as needed.
Acting as a representative of the company and our agents by attending internal/external company functions agent sponsored and industry events.
Crosssell across Middle Market and Large Commercial business unit to maximize deployment of AXA XLs capital.
You will report to the Underwriting Manager Environmental.
