Position Type: Term to March 2026
Location: Any NBCC Location
Salary: $2725.00 to $3293.00 biweekly
Reporting to the Head of Teaching and Learning Excellence the Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and developing exceptional learning products for NBCC. This role creates highquality courses for classroom virtual/online and blended delivery.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Education Instructional Design Curricula and Instruction or other related field with recent and related experience.
Six 6 years of related experience with at least three in developing curriculum instructional design or online course development.
Experience designing and developing courses in a postsecondary education environment
Demonstrated knowledge in instruction systems design methodology rapid design/development methodologies adult learning theory research methodology and assessment tools.
Professional Skills:
Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response the minimum qualifications may be raised.
