Career Description: Purpose and Scope
We are expanding our Parts Team with the addition of a Shipping and Receiving Associate. In this role you will report directly to the Assistant Director of Operations in the tasks as outlined below.
Compensation: Range of compensation: $20 22 per hour depending on experience and skills.

Location: Costa Mesa California
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
To continue our tradition of excellence you will do the following
Process all inbound and outbound shipments including sorting logging delivering packing and shipping.
Audit each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order.
Pack and label products based on established standards.
Prepares shipping and receiving documentation; maintains orderly files for all documentation.
Participate in scheduling of daily transportation.
Processes all receiving transactions and paperwork.
Inspects all incoming freight for damage; followsup with appropriate staff to resolve issues.
Assists in maintaining material inventory levels.
Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in warehouse shipping and receiving area.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
1 years related experience or equivalent in a shipping and receiving/warehousing role.
Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
Experience with processing international shipments and familiarity with customs documentation requirements.
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and experience interfacing with ERP and warehousing software.
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Acute attention to detail.
Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
Must have forklift experience including updated license.
Must have valid drivers license.
Enthusiasm for the marine industry.
