Description

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair carrying out maintenance on Ryanairs entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737800 series aircraft at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport Ayrshire Scotland.

Ryanair is Europes favourite low fares airline operating more than 3300 daily flights from over 90 bases connecting 230 destinations in over 37 countries and operating a fleet of over 570 Boeing 737 aircraft.

As part of our continuous growth plan we are seeking to recruit Trainee Aircraft Mechanics for our 12week training program with intakes throughout 2024.

The Trainee Aircraft mechanic programme is open to all. It provides candidates with the opportunity to upskill and pursue a career as a licensed Aircraft Engineer earning up to 86k per year

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks as required
  • Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
  • Complete the appropriate documentation
  • Comply with all company procedures policies regulations and MOE
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to
  • Any other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have successfully completed an engineering qualification and have experience working in the role (such as a motor vehicle mechanic electrician or fabricator) or have previously worked within a role that is handson.

Candidates who show a keen interest in engineering and a willingness to learn including school leavers will also be considered.

All successful candidates must provide a clean Disclosure Scotland certificate and have the unrestricted right to work in the UK before commencing employment.
